Over the past decade, I’ve contributed to various daily, weekly, local, regional, national, and trade publications. Here’s a look at print publications past and present that have donned my byline:

- The eBiz Insider (published by Solid Cactus)
- The Independent (formerly the Westsider)
- Games Magazine (Kappa Publishing)
- Bylines Writer’s Calendar
- The Times Leader
- The Northeast PA Rainbow Journal
- Wilkes (Alumni Magazine)
- Career College Association Journal, The Link
- Oatmeal Studios (Greeting Cards)

Since I’ve primarily written for print, it’s a little harder to share the nice-looking clips online. I do have several scanned version which I converted to PDF. Nothing beats a print layout of a feature story. I have hundreds of clips in dozens of plastic tubs. But, here are some more recent clips which also were posted online:
The Weekender
The Weekender is Northeast Pennsylvania’s #1 alternative weekly. The Weekender is published by Wilkes-Barre Publishing Company, which also owns the daily paper, The Times Leader. The Weekender is distributed to over 1000 locations across five counties, with a total readership of 174,415.
I’ve been contributing to the Weekender since 1999 and usually pitch my own story ideas. I’ve been a go-to correspondent for the “issue” issues, which take a step away from covering bands and the art scene to focus on business and community concerns. I’ve covered music and plays to cosmetic surgery and transportation.

The Independent
The Independent (formerly The Westsider) is a quarterly publication with the tagline, ‘a magazine of creativity, culture and change’. Since 2005, the glossy, colorful magazine has covered local, independent businesses, issues affecting the community and the creative scene.
I’ve been contributing to The Independent since its second issue, primarily writing feature-length stories I pitched. I also write on assignment, generally business profiles.
A Healthy Dose of Customer Service - June 2007
Kingston Turns 150 – September 2007
Solid Cactus on the Move – November 2007
